A few weeks back I photographed the wedding of the eldest daughter of a women I know.  I met with the mother-of-the-bride and the bride about 6 months beforehand to discuss the usual things such as location, time, etc and it was a pleasant meeting.  Later I met with the bride & groom to discuss more of what they wanted in the way of photos and this was a very telling meeting.  At both meetings they were very clear that the ceremony was Catholic and very formal but that the reception was to be at a nearby barn and was going to be a 'country throw down' (my words) party.  Boy they were not kidding!

I had a clear image in my head of what to expect as well as what they expected from me, but when I showed up I was blown away! Every detail in this barn was perfect, nothing was overlooked.  The food, decor, music, all top notch and the setting was amazing.  That particular day there were two of us shooting which totaled about 16 hours between the two of us which meant A LOT of photos to pour through, yet each time I look through the photos I have to smile because I will notice something else that was in that barn!

This family showed so much love, affection and respect for each other which made my day of 'work' so much more enjoyable.  The bride was stunning and the groom quite handsome...both were a joy to be around even when I was directing poses and 'working.'

Once again I feel honored to have been invited into this family's special day.  Congratulations and best of luck, Kyle & Loren!
